The X-BOW FMA Supersonic was and still is a real revolution on the market of (pistol) crossbows, which cannot be made any better - actually... However, X-BOW FMA Engineering did not want to rest on its laurels and took on the Supersonic again. The result is a reverse crossbow that is once again a real innovation: The X-BOW FMA Supersonic REV. A small, compact, if not THE smallest, reverse crossbow on the market.

With the Supersonic REV comes a powerful pistol crossbow that consistently implements the compound principle and combines it with reverse technology. At first glance, the crossbow looks strange, as its limbs seem to be mounted the wrong way round. But this is intentional, because "reverse" means nothing other than "upside down" in English and describes the construction and mode of operation of the Supersonic REV. The reversed limbs and differently shaped cams lengthen the power stroke and thus increase the force acting on the bolt. This allows the crossbow to reach bolt speeds that normal compound crossbows can only dream of. Despite its ultra-compact size, it has a draw weight of 120 lbs and generates bolt speeds of more than 420 fps / 460 km/h (depending on the bolt used). This makes it suitable for shooting distances of up to 60m. Such values were previously only known from much larger crossbows!

Another highlight is the innovative cable system, already used in the Supersonic, with which the Supersonic REV can also be easily cocked. Simply pull the rear handle and cock the crossbow. The cocking system is designed in such a way that the maximum force to be applied over the entire length of the Power Stroke does not exceed 40lbs.

The latest development from X-BOW fma Engineering will revolutionize the market for pistol crossbows! Because with the new Supersonic, a powerful pistol crossbow is coming onto the market that consistently implements the compound principle and achieves previously undreamed-of performance values. Despite its ultra-compact size, it has a draw weight of 120 lbs and generates bolt speeds of up to 362 km/h (depending on the bolt used). This makes it suitable for shooting distances of up to 60m. Such values were previously only known from larger crossbows!

A further highlight is the not new, but clearly revised and improved cable pull system, with which the Supersonic can be comfortably cocked. Simply pull the rear handle and cock the crossbow. The tensioning system is built in such a way that the maximum force to be applied over the entire length of the power stroke does not exceed 40lbs.

X-BOW fma Engineering uses only robust, durable materials. The shaft is made of sturdy metal and the limbs of high-quality fibreglass.

M4 stock

X-BOW FMA now equips the Supersonic with an adjustable stock in M4 style. The material is a high-quality, glass-fibre reinforced and heat-resistant plastic with a non-slip surface. With the new, extended stock in the so-called A-frame design, the Supersonic fits even better in the hand and can be optimally adjusted to every shooter.

The X-BOW FMA Supersonic XL incl. M4 stock in the triangle shaped design is the result of an enormous demand from many interested parties and enthusiastic owners of the outstanding pioneer.

Overview of the X-BOW FMA Supersonic XL with M4 stock

X-BOW FMA Engineering has listened and presents together with BogenSportWelt.de two new versions of the Supersonic XL. These two XL models combine the unrivalled features and advantages of the compact Supersonic, as well as a shoulder rest in two different shapes. In addition to the appearance and tactical character, the stocks differ significantly in handling and thus bring their very own advantages.

In addition to the ultra-compact AR-15 version in L-shape, the M4 stock offered here shows an extended cross bracing and thus creates the striking triangle shape. A high degree of stability as well as easy access to the optimally positioned length adjustment of the shoulder rest are the features that future owner will love right from the start. The shaft combines strong design with excellent ergonomics.

Good to know - with the additional M4 shaft, the Supersonic XL brings it to a maximum length of 67 cm. Thanks to the possibility to adjust the length, an adjustment to a minimum of 61 cm is possible. By removing the reel seat, a further 2 cm can be saved. Depending on the configuration chosen, the XL version is thus between 19 and 25 cm longer than the compact predecessor version of the Supersonic without shaft.

Note: The draw weight, in this case 120 lbs, is not a reliable indicator of the performance of a crossbow!

Many factors, such as the power stroke, the efficiency of the bow, the rebound characteristics of the bow, the weight of the arrow, the weight of the string and much more have an impact on the energy that the arrow receives when it is launched.

Depending on how heavy the arrow is and how many times the string has been twisted (this shortens the string), this bow on the AR-6 Stinger II delivers between 18 and 21 joules (13.3 – 15.5 ft-lbs) of kinetic energy.

Important: The new limbs of the AR-6 Stinger II do not fit the previous versions of the AR-6 Stinger.
