PD-5 Repeating Crossbow – Built for the Highest Demands
The concept of our PD-5 is simple: the range, penetration power, and impact of a full-size repeating crossbow in the size of our compact and maneuverable AR-Series platform. 
The result is a crossbow weighing less than 2 kg and very compact, easy to handle, and ideal for use indoors, in underbrush, and confined spaces. The significantly increased operational range of 50 meters is achieved through the use of larger arrows.  
During the development of the PD-5, great emphasis was placed on ergonomics. Aiming for the fastest possible target acquisition and handling that resembles a real firearm allows for a quick, effective first hit.
Rapid follow-up shots, even with high projectile energy, are easily possible thanks to the robust quick cocking system. The leverage effect enables impressive performance with manageable draw forces. 
PD-5
This variant is optimized for the demanding sport shooter as a training and match weapon. The main differences are the sight, limb, and included arrows.  
Sight
The PD-5 is equipped with a fiber optic front sight instead of the tritium sight. This sight gathers ambient light and glows brightly and clearly. For use in darkness, a red dot sight or a similar illuminated reticle sight is needed.
Limb
The PD-5 comes with our proven “PRO” limb. This bow delivers energy of nearly 20 joules and an arrow speed of about 200 FPS with light sport arrows. For sporting applications, the PRO limb (nominal draw weight: 90 lbs) is ideally suited and offers a flat trajectory, especially with light arrows. Of course, any other AR-Series limb can also be used with the PD-5.
